This opportunity offers a civilian contractor role supporting inpatient surgical and anesthesia services in a structured clinical environment. This position does not require military service. A Texas medical license is required.
• Full-scope anesthesia services for surgical and selected non-surgical cases
• No CRNA supervision required
• Self-scheduling model (approx. 160 hours/month for full-time)
• Pager call required
• Long-term contract with option to extend
• Credentialing timeline approximately days
• MD/DO with completion of ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License & DEA
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS (No online-only certifications accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent anesthesia practice within the last 3 years
• Proficiency with airway management, ventilator management, perioperative assessment, and anesthesia protocols
• Full-time preferred; local PRN candidates encouraged
• Flexible self-schedule structure
• Inpatient surgical support, including OR and perioperative care
• Expected to support clinical operations and documentation standards
• Independent Contractor (1099) model
• Long-term contract with potential extension
• Orientation and EMR workflow support provided
