Summary
Sinai Hospital's Float Pool is currently looking for a Registered Nurse with a flexible and adaptable approach to patient care and a dedication to providing exceptional nursing support across various units and specialties.
The Float Pool at Sinai Hospital is a designated supplemental staffing pool designed to be used by nursing areas when unit staffing is insufficient to meet patient care needs. We currently have openings for full-time and part-time, in which all are eligible to participate in the clinical ladder as well as committees throughout the hospital.

Sinai Hospital is the largest community hospital in Maryland, consisting of 483-licensed beds that offers training for more than 140 residents and 400 medical students yearly.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Critical Care experience required
- 2+ years of experience in 2+ departments required
- Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and ACLS
PREFERRED:
- Current Certification - NRP for WICU, M/B L&D
- PALS for ED, PACU, PEDS, PICU, & CDCR
Float Pool staff will follow a 6-week schedule and a weekend obligation of 4 shifts, 3 major holidays and 2 difficult-to-staff days required. All staff are eligible for shift incentives once flex obligations have been met.
