How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Provides comprehensive nursing care to a diverse adult patient population requiring observation
  • Performs ongoing assessments, cardiac and neurological monitoring, and timely interventions to ensure early detection of patient status changes.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate diagnostic testing, treatment plans, and safe, efficient patient throughput.
  • Educates patients and families on disease processes, medications, and discharge instructions to support continuity of care and prevent readmissions.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • 6 months of acute care nursing experience
  • Must be willing to obtain the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certification
