Overview:
Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon with TAVR experience for locum coverage at a leading regional hospital. This is a high-acuity role requiring full coverage for the specified dates.
Responsibilities:
- Morning surgical schedule; afternoon office schedule
- Inpatient rounding and ICU oversight for 2 5 post-op patients
- On-call for urgent CABG/AVR procedures from Cath Lab, ER, and inpatient units
- Review of Cath Lab films upon request from cardiologists
- Emergency procedures only; no scheduled elective surgeries during coverage
- Inpatient call only (no office call)

Requirements:
- Must be available for both coverage periods
- Clean background required for November start
- TAVR experience is mandatory
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active medical license (or ability to obtain via IMLC LOQ)
