Medicus has partnered with a facility in central Mississippi that has a contract assignment for a physician to assist with Emergency Medicine coverage.

Assignment Details:

• Shifts: Day, night, or swing shifts
• Schedule: Minimum of 5 shifts per month
• Patient Volume: 9-11 per day shift, lower volume at night
• 16 total beds, 8 monitored beds
• Trauma cases are shipped out
• Intubation skills required
• Support Staff: Additional physicians, NPs, and nursing staff
• Subspecialty Support: Laboratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
• Accepting residencies in emergency medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or general surgery
• Any state license accepted
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, walk through a vibrant public park lined with sculptures, enjoy a symphony orchestra or ballet performance in a grand concert hall, and sample local cuisine at family-owned restaurants.
