Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift PCU position in Texas requiring at least one year of recent progressive care experience and a valid TX or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital progressive care (PCU) unit on a med/surg floor
- Cares for a diverse adult patient population requiring intermediate care
- Night shift schedule with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Cannot have been employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
- All RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration; no Canadian SIN accepted
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU experience required
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must provide valid driver's license for consideration
