Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN with at least 18 months of experience and a Georgia or compact RN license for a Pre-Op unit position.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Pre-Op unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift with 9-hour AM shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates allowed within a 50-mile radius
• Must provide Pre-Op and PACU care for surgical patients
• Time off requests are limited to a maximum of five days unless during holidays, when only three days are permitted
• Only one holiday time off request is allowed per contract
• Return-to-work rules apply for former staff members
• RTO requests must not cluster around holidays
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months RN experience required
• Must meet specific employment separation requirements if previously worked at Emory or Houston facilities
• Must not have been employed at the same facility within the past 18 months or within the health system in the last year
