Danbury Hospital, affiliated with Nuvance Health is seeking a full-time Night Physician Assistant Hospitalist – Nights for Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT for variable night shifts, 8 PM – 8 AM with potential for $10K Hiring Bonus. Work in a collegial work environment with experienced physicians and physician assistants in a community hospital in a family friendly location about 80 miles from NYC. You will have the opportunity to work independently but alongside the Physicians in Hospitalist Medicine. Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area resident's convenient access to exceptional care. Job Summary:
Under the supervision of a physician, provides primary medical care to patients to assist in their recovery from acute illnesses and minimize the effects of chronic illnesses. 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and graduate of an approved Physician Assistant (PA) school.
• CT State PA license, DEA/State of CT controlled substance.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• ACLS & BLS certification. 
• Must maintain 50 CME's over two years.
• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Preferred: prior PA Hospitalist experience but new grads with inpatient Internal Medicine experience are encouraged to apply
• Able to work variable block night schedule, 8 PM – 8 AM (12-hour shifts) about 14 shifts per month (including 2 weekends/mo.).

Salary Range: $120 - $140k annually commensurate or relative to experience.
