What You'll Do: See approximately 20-25 patients per day, providing comprehensive outpatient cardiology care for adults. Conduct patient consultations, order diagnostic tests, diagnose cardiac conditions, develop treatment plans, and manage medications. Perform procedures as permitted by your scope of practice, such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests. Deliver preventive cardiology services and educate patients on heart health. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients. Maintain meticulous documentation within the Epic electronic medical record system. Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine with a completed Cardiology fellowship (required). Current ACLS and BLS certifications. Minimum of 7-14 days for credentialing (may require licensure in both IN and IL). Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive knowledge base in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Experience in performing common cardiology procedures a plus. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage a moderate patient volume. Additional Information: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Coverage includes major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, etc.) with no call responsibilities.
