Position Overview:
Clinical Care (80%)
Provide direct patient care in collaboration with physicians and mental health professionals.
Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including suicide/homicide risk assessments.
Monitor and manage the progress of patients, intervening during acute illnesses.
Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and evaluate results.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and plans.
Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care for chronically ill patients.
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and support staff.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
Education and Program Development (10%)
Develop and evaluate educational programs for patients, families, and staff.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery.
Serve as a resource for clinical training and professional development.
Standards, Quality, and Administrative Support (10%)
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and institutional committees.
Help establish standards for nursing practice and ensure regulatory compliance.
Stay current with clinical advancements and share knowledge with peers.
Requirements:
Active Ohio Medical License
DEA Certification
Current Healthcare Provider-level CPR certification
COVID-19 Vaccination Card or approved exemption
Valid Driver s License
U.S. Passport or Naturalization Certificate (if applicable)
