ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide Locum coverage for a facility in Upstate NY in its hospital-based practice starting January. The role offers a stable and collaborative environment with a 1:3 CRNA supervision ratio and coverage limited to one campus no travel required. This position provides a broad case mix without cardiac, neuro, or thoracic cases.
Schedule & Start Date
Start Date: January (credentialing takes 2 3 months with active NY license)
Schedule: Full-time, hospital-based
CRNA Supervision: 1 physician to 3 CRNAs
Job Details & Responsibilities
Case Mix Includes: General Surgery, Endoscopy, Vascular, OB, Ortho, Bariatric Surgery, UroGyn
Excluded Cases: No cardiac, neurosurgery, or thoracic cases
Obstetrics: 100 deliveries/month; low epidural rate; C-section rate 15%
Spinal and Epidural Skills: Required
Patient Population: Primarily adults with low pediatric volume
ORs: 7 operating rooms
EMR: Epic
Required Skills & Qualifications
Certifications:
NBCRNA (National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
License: Active New York State RN and CRNA licenses required
Other Requirements:
Must not live within 50 miles of the facility
