ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide Locum coverage for a facility in Upstate NY in its hospital-based practice starting January. The role offers a stable and collaborative environment with a 1:3 CRNA supervision ratio and coverage limited to one campus no travel required. This position provides a broad case mix without cardiac, neuro, or thoracic cases.

Schedule & Start Date

• Start Date: January (credentialing takes 2 3 months with active NY license)

• Schedule: Full-time, hospital-based
  

• CRNA Supervision: 1 physician to 3 CRNAs

Job Details & Responsibilities

• Case Mix Includes: General Surgery, Endoscopy, Vascular, OB, Ortho, Bariatric Surgery, UroGyn

• Excluded Cases: No cardiac, neurosurgery, or thoracic cases

• Obstetrics: 100 deliveries/month; low epidural rate; C-section rate 15%

• Spinal and Epidural Skills: Required

• Patient Population: Primarily adults with low pediatric volume

• ORs: 7 operating rooms

• EMR: Epic

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Certifications:

  • NBCRNA (National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• License: Active New York State RN and CRNA licenses required

• Other Requirements:

  • Must not live within 50 miles of the facility
