Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel RN
• Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 (Wisconsin nursing jobs)
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• End Date: March 9, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Nights, 4x12-hour shifts/week (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1940-$1990
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry (Second Floor)
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Charting System: Epic EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active WI or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications (must be in hand before interview)
• Proficient in interpreting and signing off on telemetry strips
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Must provide 2 supervisor references from the past year (including one from most recent/current assignment)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must not have a latex allergy (facility cannot accommodate)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and document telemetry rhythms; manage dysrhythmias as needed
• Administer blood products, oxygen, and medications; start and maintain IVs
• Implement isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Participate in rapid response/code teams as needed
• Provide patient and family education and support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
