American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Pediatric Medical ICU position requiring a MA RN license and two years of PICU experience including ventilator management.
Responsibilities- Work in a Pediatric Medical ICU within an acute care facility
- Care for critically ill pediatric patients, including those requiring ventilator support
- Patients may include neonatal and cardiac ICU populations when floating
- Rotation between 12-hour day and night shifts with every other weekend required
- Option to work permanent day or night shifts with increased weekend commitment
- Floating required within scope to CICU, MSICU, and NICU units
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Facility is a Magnet hospital with Level III/IV NICU and Level I Trauma designations
- First-time travelers are accepted for this role
- Solid color scrubs are required for all units
- Parking is discounted for day and evening shifts, and free for night shift
- Locals are accepted within a 50-mile radius at a different rate
- Active MA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatric ICU experience, including ventilator management
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
- Travel nursing experience required for consideration
