Job Opportunity: Physician - Oncology in Coos Bay, OR

We are seeking full-time or part-time Medical Oncologists and/or Hematologists to join our renowned cancer center, serving as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accept part-time (48 hours per pay period) and full-time (80 hours per pay period) candidates.
- BE (within 2 years)/BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
- Prefer experience in Radiation Oncology or be an excellent recent graduate.
- Manage a patient demographic of approximately 20% Hematology and 80% Oncology.
- Conduct an average of 10-15 patient visits per day in an outpatient setting.
- Work within a beautiful, free-standing cancer center with no inpatient consults.
- Utilize a state-of-the-art infusion room and onsite pharmacy.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled nurse infusion team.
- Participate in clinical trials and have access to leading-edge resources.
- Work-life balance with 1:4 call (primarily critical lab calls).
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
- Experience practicing Radiation Oncology is preferred.
- Clean malpractice history/background.
- Demonstrated interest in part-time or full-time employment.
- Ties to Oregon, such as family or previous residency.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Oregon medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Copy of the most recent NPDB self-query report.
- DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
