AtlantiCare Primary Care Rio Grande is seeking a Family Practice physician to provide ongoing outpatient coverage due to a recent provider departure. This is a daytime-only outpatient role with no call, no inpatient work, and no ED responsibilities. The site is open to both pure locum and locum-to-perm candidates.

• Coverage Start: January/February

• Duration: Ongoing

• Shift:8:00 AM 4:00 PM, Monday Friday

• No call, no inpatient work, no emergency department backup

• Setting: Primary Care / Family Practice

• Location: Rio Grande, NJ

• EMR: Cerner

• Trauma Level: II (hospital designation, though this role is outpatient only)

• Reason for Need: Provider departure

• Supervision: None required

• Estimated Credentialing: 90 days

• Travel:

  • Local providers only

  • Mileage reimbursement at standard IRS rate

Clinical Duties:

• Adult outpatient primary care

• EKG interpretation

• Disability exams (occupational medicine)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Required

• Active NJ medical license Preferred (may obtain prior to start)

• BLS certification Required

• Experience in adult outpatient care Required

• Proficiency in EKG interpretation Required

• Experience performing disability exams Preferred

• Experience with Cerner EMR Preferred

• Prior outpatient clinic/primary care experience Preferred
