Job Setting:Join a respected hospital system known for its commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence. The hospital provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic resources, supported by a multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and care coordinators working together to optimize patient outcomes and ensure smooth transitions of care.
Key Responsibilities:• Manage and coordinate care for patients admitted to the hospital
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate closely with consulting specialists and the broader care team
• Lead discharge planning and ensure safe transitions to outpatient care
• Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Active or eligible for Alabama medical license
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to compassionate, evidence-based inpatient care
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment
• New residency graduates with strong training are encouraged to apply
