This position is for a board-certified or board-eligible Urology Physician providing inpatient urology care at a facility in Greenville, SC. The role involves managing general urology and ureteroscopy cases with support from a team of five urologists and inpatient APPs, covering up to six days per month. The position is locum tenens with potential to transition to permanent, requiring active SC licensure, ACLS, BLS, and DEA certification.

- Locum to Perm: This is a locum tenens position with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role. Provider must confirm interest in locum to perm at the time of name clear.
- Inpatient Focus: The role is 100% inpatient, with no office or clinic patients.
- Supportive Team: You will be part of a group of five urologists. The service also provides inpatient APP support seven days a week. You will not work solo.
- Flexible Schedule: We need coverage for up to six days per month.
- Required Procedures: You'll handle General Urology and Ureteroscopy cases.
- EMR and Resources: The facility has a lab and X-ray on-site. The EMR system will be confirmed during the application process.
- Provide inpatient urology care for adult and geriatric patients.
- Perform General Urology and Ureteroscopy procedures.
- Collaborate with the existing urology team and inpatient APC support staff.
- Board Status: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible is required.
- Licensure: An active South Carolina license is REQUIRED, but the facility will accept providers needing to obtain a state license.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS are REQUIRED.
- DEA: An active DEA is required.
- Commitment: Must be available to provide coverage for up to six days per month and must submit to both locations to be considered.
- Coverage is needed beginning November 1.
