What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and professional conduct.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential threats within the location and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Complete detailed incident reports and document any occurrences or observations as required by site protocols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and provide guidance as needed while maintaining access control protocols.
• Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as site-specific instructions, to fulfill assigned duties.
• Participate in emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns, as directed by site management or law enforcement.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, staff, and members of the public while upholding the reputation of Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
