LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma.

Must have travel experience. Must have step down experience.
This is a med/surg unit. Will not accept OR candidates.
Must have acute care surgical floor experience.
ENT and/or Transplant Experience Preferred
• Nurses for this unit need Med Surg experience as this floor has inpatients pre or post-surgical services-mostly surgical experience is needed.
• 4E candidates will care for patients post operatively and need to have experiences taking care of patients with new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT or DHT. Some of these patients will be Step down care as well. Ratios are 5 or 6:1 for surgical patients and 3 or 4:1 for SD area.
Required Skills & Experience:
-1 year of experience.
-Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures.
-Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
-Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees.
-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
-Some computer skills.
Required Education:
-Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Preferred Education:
-Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
-Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
