Manager - Health Information Management Operations

Lead a HIM team at a purpose-driven health system with career development and AHIMA credential preference. Manager, Health Information Management Operations; full-time, on-site; standard healthcare schedule; location: Memorial Healthcare System (Florida); permanent role. - RHIT or RHIA preferred - Bachelor's in Health Info Mgmt/Business or related - 3 years core HIM experience and 1 year management - Knowledge of EMR workflows and federal/state regulatory requirements - Proficient with MS Office and EMR systems

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Demonstrates effective time management skills. Requires thorough knowledge of provider documentation workflows in the electronic medical record.Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, and in utilizing an electronic medical record system. Possesses thorough knowledge of federal, state, and regulatory requirements related to Health Information Management operations for areas of responsibility.

Required Work Experience: Three (3) years of core Health Information Management experience and one (1) year of management experience.
