Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine with at least 2 years of high-risk OB ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a high-volume perinatal center performing ultrasounds on obstetric patients, including many high-risk cases with fetal abnormalities
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with 5x8 hour schedule
• Focus on fetal medicine and obstetrics imaging, including Nuchal Translucency screenings
• No floating required
• Cerner is used for EMR documentation
• The department is high-volume with a diverse and complex maternal fetal patient population
• Amniocentesis experience is preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Candidates must disclose all requested time off prior to contract; no more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred, and none in the first two weeks
• A local radius of 60 miles applies for local rate eligibility
• Paid modules must be completed pre-start or during orientation and recorded via transcripts
• On-site parking is available for a fee

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in maternal fetal medicine or high-risk OB ultrasound
• ARDMS OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT) certifications required; will consider those with strong experience conducting these scans even if certification is not yet obtained
• Proficiency in Nuchal Translucency screening, high-risk OB, maternal fetal medicine, and obstetric sonography
• General ultrasound skills and experience with GE anatomy scans preferred
• License required if applicable
• Two recent supervisor references required
• Return staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
