Exciting Opportunity for a Gynecology/Oncology Physician in Colorado Springs, CO!
The UCHealth Medical Group in Colorado Springs, Colorado is seeking a dedicated and passionate Gynecology/Oncology Physician to join their well-established, high-volume practice. Positioned at the heart of downtown Colorado Springs, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment. The practice boasts a seasoned staff and a strong referral network, with access to comprehensive resources including a Level I trauma center.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients in a busy outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Nurse Navigator, specialized Radiation Oncologists, and Pathologists.
- Use the state-of-the-art da Vinci XI surgical system for procedures.
- Engage in research trials and provide patients with access to clinical trials.
- Experience a manageable patient load, treating 15-22 patients daily.
- Share call responsibilities (1:2) with minimal disruptions to office practice.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient patient management.
- Teaching opportunities available for medical students.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology.
- Fellowship-trained in Gynecological Oncology (to be completed prior to start).
- Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology - Required.
- Active Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain) - Required.
- DEA must be obtained prior to start - Required.
