A well-supported, board-certified/eligible Gastroenterologist is sought to work on Hawaii's Big Island in a high-volume GI practice with no night or weekend calls. The position involves a flexible weekly schedule with clinic, ambulatory surgery center, and hospital responsibilities and offers competitive compensation with benefits and CME support. This role is ideal for someone committed to living in a culturally rich, community-oriented environment on the west coast of Hawaii's Big Island.

Enterprise Medical Recruiting is assisting a non-profit 501c3 organization on the West Coast of Hawaii's Big Island to find a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a high-volume, fast-paced GI group serving their culturally rich community.

Opportunity Highlights

Join a well-supported team, including long-tenured PAs, MAs, and an MD who rotates from Honolulu
Efficiently manage a high-volume practice with 16-18 procedures/day at a busy ASC
100% employed position working across clinic, ASC, and hospital settings
Bread-and-butter GI with dedicated clinic, ASC, and hospital days
Flexible Weekly schedule: varied 2 days ASC, one clinic, two hospital, with potential for admin time
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM schedule, no weekends or night requirements
No required hospital call, extra inpatient work paid at an additional hourly rate
Epic EMR in Clinic and Hospital
Serve the entire west side of the island
Seeking someone familiar with or genuinely committed to living in Hawaii's Big Island

Recruitment Package

Compensation based on experience
- Base Compensation over 50% with wRVU bonus
$25K sign-on/relocation package
Health insurance covered for physician
Plenty of days off!
- 20 PTO days
- 3 sick days
- 10 Holidays
- 10 CME days and $5,000 annual CME stipend
Malpractice coverage
401a with 3% automatic employer contribution (vesting over 5 years)
403b and 457a options for higher earners
