The responsibility of the Sr. Maintenance Mechanic is to manage general maintenance duties including the maintenance of all powered equipment, including dock restraints; with the ability to identify mechanical issues with all powered equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic and electro-mechanical system issues. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:maintain cleanliness of power equipment including: forklift, pallet jacks, sweeper, scrubber, tugger and clamp attachments preventative maintenance and repair of all power equipment within the warehouse, including dock restraints maintenance duties to include the overall cleanliness of the of the entire warehouse including restrooms and office areas general warehouse maintenance duties to maintain a safe and professional work environment both in and outside the warehouse, building and equipment repairs proficient in all maintenance required programs including the recycling programs, lock out/tag out procedures and hazardous materials operating powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jack, tugger, clamp attachments and sweeper/scrubber must be able to work with and in the absence of the Maintenance Manager to prioritize workload and follow up on outstanding issues communicate with maintenance team members to ensure workload is being executed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance. Must be able to work within warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise and dust Must be able to ork in all areas of the warehouse as the workload dictates  When needed working on powered equipment for up to 8 hrs per day  When needed standing, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing for up to 8 hrs per day

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $27.25 - $32.75
