A reputable healthcare system located in Southeast Wisconsin has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established and busy Family Practice. This full-time role offers a dynamic blend of outpatient clinic care and inpatient rounding responsibilities , working closely with a dedicated physician to provide comprehensive patient care.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time (Minimum of 40 hours per week)
- Schedule may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
- Collaborative role in both clinic and hospital settings
- Involvement in all aspects of patient care, including:
- Assisting with hospital rounds
- Following through on treatment plans
- Reviewing and evaluating test results
- Documenting medical records
- Conducting patient follow-up communications
- Opportunity to care for patients across the lifespan
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Training: Completion of a nurse practitioner program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year practicing as a provider in a primary care setting with patients of all ages
- Licensure/Certification: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain)
