Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Alaska requiring an active AK RN license and recent PACU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a hospital setting
• Day shifts are 12 hours, with variable scheduling from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Responsibilities include providing care for post-anesthesia patients in the PACU
• Candidates must submit a complete profile including application, skills checklist, references, and nursing license verification
• No Canadian SSN accepted for consideration
• Scrubs or professional attire as per hospital policy

Requirements

• Active Alaska RN license is required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PACU experience
• Current AHA or ARC certification (BLS, ACLS) with no expiration within the first 30 days of assignment
• Must provide valid US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
