We are seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our reputable pediatric department in Anchorage, Alaska. This full-time, permanent position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide specialized care to pediatric patients with endocrine disorders within a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, evaluate, and manage a broad spectrum of pediatric endocrine conditions, including growth disorders, diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, and pubertal issues.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide ongoing patient education and support to children and their families.
- Participate in outpatient clinics, hospital consults, and occasional outreach services as needed.
- Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in Alaska or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Proven experience or fellowship training in pediatric endocrinology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
