Join Our Team as an OB-GYN Hospitalist in Salinas, CA!
Pediatrix Medical Group is urgently seeking a full-time Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist to provide 24-hour in-house coverage at Salinas Valley Health Medical Center a nationally recognized maternity care hospital nestled in the beautiful and vibrant Central Coast city of Salinas, California.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage
- Manage labor and delivery for low-volume OBs in the community
- Handle obstetrical triage and emergency situations
- Perform patient evaluations and management
- Assist in obstetrical surgeries
- Participate in fetal monitoring and coordination with MFM specialists
- Support a Level III NICU operated in partnership with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and MFM support
- Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for all obstetric patients
- This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.

Qualifications:
- Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Active California medical license at the time of application
- OB Hospitalist work experience is preferred
- Clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred
- Willingness to relocate or currently reside in the area
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB-GYN
- Truly Board Eligible in OB-GYN within 5 years of residency
- California State License (active at the time of application)
