What You‘ll Do Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments. Make critical diagnoses and treatment decisions in fast-paced situations. Perform essential emergency procedures, including but not limited to suturing, laceration repair, and airway management. Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans. Prescribe medications and manage patient care plans effectively. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team in high-stress situations. Document medical records accurately and thoroughly to ensure clear communication for all healthcare providers involved. Who You Are Board certified in Emergency Medicine (BC/EM). Active Missouri medical license is mandatory. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine is preferred. You possess strong clinical skills and experience managing a diverse range of medical emergencies. Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential for making critical decisions under pressure. You have exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team. The ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team is a must in this fast-paced environment.
