Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) - Cancer Center Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our esteemed Cancer Center team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for cancer patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure positive patient outcomes
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed
- Offer education and support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects within the Cancer Center
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
- Certification in Oncology Nursing or relevant specialty (preferred)
- Prior experience in oncology or a related field (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
