The Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized, compassionate care to cancer patients on the oncology unit during night shifts, utilizing the nursing process to assess and manage treatment. This role includes direct and indirect patient care, patient and family education on chemotherapy and symptom management, and serving as a resource for less experienced nurses.
