We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 14-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon, starting Jan 26, 2026. This role offers 24-hour call coverage with daily 8-hour rounding, providing critical inpatient pediatric care as well as emergency department consults. The assignment includes attending physician duties for inpatient pediatrics and newborns, with a focus on acute stabilization and transfer of critical patients.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as attending physician for inpatient pediatric cases and emergency department consults
- Round on pediatric inpatients and newborns in the Family Birth Center
- Stabilize and transfer critically ill pediatric patients as needed
- Perform required procedures, including lumbar puncture, intubations, umbilical lines, and neonatal resuscitation
Additional Information
- Active Oregon license required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine required
- DEA required
- Clean malpractice background highly preferred for emergency credentialing
- Immediate availability for credentialing is required
