Shift: 3x12's Nights – 7 PM to 7 AM, Friday through Sunday

Position Overview:
Join the dedicated imaging team at Comanche County Hospital as a Travel Cardiac Sonographer/Echo Tech. In this role, you will perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams, including echocardiograms, to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret and communicate imaging findings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards at all times.
- Document procedures accurately and complete necessary reports in a timely manner.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience as a Cardiac Sonographer with proficiency in echocardiography techniques.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent technical skills with ultrasound equipment.
- Compassionate patient care and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on nights and weekends as scheduled.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Certification in Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography from a recognized body such as CCI, ARDMS, or CAAHEP.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting.
- Previous experience working in a hospital environment preferred.
Certifications & Licenses:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification.
- Licensed as required by state regulations, if applicable.
- CPR certification is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Weekly Stipend: $1,116.08
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,755.40
