CVOR Surgical Technologist

Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) with on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist to join our team, primarily floating in the Main OR for orthopedic and general cases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in various surgical specialties, particularly in cardiac, vascular, and general surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures within the CVOR and maintain a sterile environment.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgeries.
• Perform both circulatory and scrub duties as needed, with an emphasis on cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2.5 years of OR experience; circulatory experience required, scrub experience preferred.
• Experience in valve replacement, coronary artery bypass, TAVR, and other related cases.
• Active NJ or Compact License required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS.
