RN Float Pool – Med/Surg | ICU | ER
Schedule:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Every other weekend (EOW) & holiday rotations
2 on-call (OC) shifts every 4 weeks
Role Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Float Pool, must be comfortable floating to Med/Surg, ICU, and ER units. The RN will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Requirements:
Active New York State RN license
BSN required
Critical care experience required
Must be comfortable floating to ICU / ER / Med-Surg
Required Certifications (AHA or RQI):
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
Additional Certifications:
Basic Coronary Care (within 6 months of hire)
CPI Certification (within 90 days of hire)
Preferred:
TNCC (within 2 years of hire)
Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) certification (within 2 years)
Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office
