Key responsibilities include managing obstetric cases, delivering comprehensive prenatal and postpartum care, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role offers the flexibility to work predominantly on weekends, accommodating your schedule while providing significant professional fulfillment.
Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license for Ohio
- Proven experience in obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience as a hospitalist or in a locum tenens setting
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) or Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree with at least 2 years of post-residency OB hospitalist experience
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in Ohio or similar healthcare environments
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 31/12/2025
- Weekends shift availability
- Willingness to travel if necessary
- Compliance with all licensure, certification, and hospital credentialing requirements
- Reimbursements for travel, licensure, certifications, and other eligible expenses
Compensation for this role is competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $195.00.
