Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleTrue rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights. Every other weekend requirement with on-call duties during weekdays and/or weekends.
Job DescriptionThe Operating Room Nurse will provide critical care in various surgical procedures across multiple specialties. The role requires extensive experience in the operating room, including trauma, orthopedic, vascular, neuro, robotics, and transplant surgeries.
Responsibilities- Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub nurse.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and care.
- Manage and prepare surgical instruments and equipment.
- Provide support during post-operative care.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room, with a strong preference for 3 years.
- Level 1 Trauma experience for at least 1 year within the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience in the last 3 years.
- Current nursing license with required certifications.
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination required with allowances for medical or religious exemptions.
