- ARRT(T) or equivalent registry/credential required
- Experience operating linear accelerators and CT simulators preferred

MCR Radiation Oncology Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift:
Days This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option Medical Center of the Rockies is expanding its commitment to exceptional cancer care with the development of a brand-new, state-of-the-art radiation oncology center. This leading-edge facility will feature advanced Varian treatment technology and a Siemens CT simulator, creating an environment where therapists can deliver the highest quality care with the best tools available. Administers radiation therapy as prescribed by a physician in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Reviews patient history, physician's orders and radiation therapy treatment plan. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Determines patient treatment plan in collaboration with physician and dosimetrist. Delivers therapy according to treatment plan. Prepares equipment and supplies, including linear accelerator. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including re-positioning patient and repeating procedure. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technologist program.
