Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
- The certified pharmacy technician provides assistance in the specialty area of the pharmacy by providing safe and appropriate pharmacy services to patients in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Outpatient pharmacy department, the state’s professional standards and other regulatory entities.
- Complete prior authorizations, data entry, packaging, inventory, cashier
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
- Minimum one year experience
- Registered with the Maryland board of pharmacy
- National Certified pharmacy technician
- Prior experience with Therigy specialty system a plus
