Labor & Delivery RN Job Details – Twin Falls, ID

• Location: Twin Falls, Idaho (Zip: 83301) – Idaho travel nursing opportunity
• Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Level 3 NICU
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: May 4, 2026
• Contract Duration: 18 weeks
• Shifts: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310 - $2470
• Unit Details: 11 Labor & Delivery rooms, 2 C-section suites, 17 postpartum beds
• Charting System: Epic EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience, including postpartum care
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring, or NCC Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients and circulating in C-sections
• Proficient in titrating drips (Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin preferred)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• First-time travel nurses welcome (Critical Access Hospital-only experience not accepted)

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and postpartum patients
• Float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units as needed
• Circulate and assist in C-section deliveries
• Monitor and titrate medications including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin
• Collaborate with OBs, Neonatologists, CRNAs, and clinical support staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in triage, patient assessments, and documentation using Epic EMR
• Promote a positive patient experience and maintain AWHONN staffing guidelines
• May float to other units for sitter shifts as needed
