Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Every 3rd-4th weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Minimum 2 years ER experience in acute care setting required
• Must have Meditech 6.15 experience
• Highly preferred: Travel experience or 5+ years in Level 1 Trauma Facility
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS or NIHSS; TNCC preferred
• Must pass online Cardiac Rhythms test (minimum 80% score) and ESI Triage Exam during orientation
• Must live 75+ miles from facility (driver's license address verification required)
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• Handle approximately 140 patient visits per day
• Provide care for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Work with trauma patients, stroke patients, and various emergency cases
• Perform own lab draws and IV starts
• Work in 25 monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, 6 fast treatment chairs, 2 trauma bays
• Charge nurse responsibilities included
• Floor-specific orientation: 1-2 shifts depending on comfort level
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks

The facility serves as a CVA center and Level 1 Trauma facility, handling approximately 140 patient visits daily.
