Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Med/Surg travel position on night shift, requiring a TN or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital cardiac med/surg unit (3 Central)
- Night shift position, 7:00PM - 7:00AM
- 13-week assignment
- Adult patient population with a focus on cardiac and medical-surgical cases
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with cardiac and general medical-surgical needs
- Document all care and interventions accurately and timely in the patient record
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Compliance with hospital policies including dress code and vaccination requirements as applicable
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- At least 1 year of recent experience in cardiac med/surg nursing
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC, valid through the first 30 days of the assignment
- Must provide date of birth and US Social Security Number for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- One professional reference required, unless applying to FL or MO where two references are needed
- No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
