Our client, a college in Houghton, NY, is seeking a cleaner to join their team. As a Cleaner, you will be part of the Facilities Department supporting the Campus Services Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Cleaner
Location: Houghton, NY
Pay Range: $15.75/hour
Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm
What’s the Job?
- Temporary position - few weeks.
- Clean and sanitize common areas and restrooms across campus
- Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals according to guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of both interior and exterior campus areas
- Perform outdoor duties including shoveling walkways when needed
What’s Needed?
- Must have own reliable vehicle
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm
- Experience with commercial or institutional cleaning preferred
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
