Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele respiratory position on a day shift, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is on a Med/Surg Telemetry Respiratory unit
- Work schedule is 07:00 to 19:00 on day shifts
- Patients are managed on the 7 North unit with general Med/Surg and telemetry needs
- Orientation hours are included at the start of the assignment
- Uses Meditech as the EMR system
- No restrictions on local candidates, and the pay rate remains the same for all
- Virtual orientation covers competency-based modules
- All required competencies and training must be completed before starting the assignment
- No HealthStream modules are required prior to the start date
- Cardiac exam must be completed after offer acceptance
- Timekeeping will be managed using Centricity
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license required; no pending or temporary licenses accepted
- No past or current hits on licensure allowed
- Minimum 2 years of total RN experience with at least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Tele
- Current references from within the past year required
- Resume, full SSN, license verification, and valid driver's license must be provided for consideration
