Are you a board-certified or board-eligible OB-GYN physician looking for a locum tenens opportunity in a supportive healthcare environment near Fort Bragg, NC? We are seeking a highly responsive and qualified physician to provide immediate call coverage for our busy inpatient department. This locum tenens opportunity offers the chance to: Make a Difference: Contribute to patient care in a vital role within a dynamic inpatient setting. Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a flexible schedule with call coverage starting ASAP and ongoing. Housing Provided: Relax and focus on patient care with comfortable hospital apartment housing available adjacent to the facility. Travel Time: Maintain a work-life balance with a required commute time of within 20 minutes of the hospital (as per hospital bylaws). Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly to call requests and provide timely care for obstetric emergencies (including emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries). Be available for any emergent GYN procedures. Round on patients admitted to the department. Collaborate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals. Maintain a high standard of patient care and communication. Qualifications: Active medical license in the state of North Carolina (only). Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology or board-eligible. Actively delivering babies (must submit case logs for past 24 months). NC Controlled Substances Registration (DEA) license. ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications required. Clean file with limited affiliations to facilitate expedited credentialing (temporary privileges may be available). Excellent clinical skills and a strong knowledge base in obstetrics and gynecology. Exceptional responsiveness with paperwork. About the Role: Schedule: Call coverage starting ASAP and ongoing.
