Anesthesiologist locum tenens; hospital-based; M-W-F 6:30–15:00, T-Th 7:00–15:30 with occasional extended hours; ASAP start, ongoing; based near Lu Verne, IA; physician may occasionally supervise CRNAs. - MD/DO in Anesthesiology - Cardiac fellowship preferred or extensive cardiac experience - TEE certification and ability to read, interpret, and bill for TEE required - Active state medical license or ability to obtain one for IA - Availability for specified weekday schedule and occasional extended coverage

Urgent need for an Anesthesiologist for locums in Iowa Specialty: Anesthesiology Coverage dates: ASAP - Ongoing Shift Description: M-W-F 6:30 - 3:00 T-Th 7:00 - 3:30, but will stay later if help is needed in non-cardiac cases or the cardiac case is not finished. Hospital based. On rare occasions may need to oversee CRNAs in the facility if no cardiac cases are scheduled and a physician is needed. The physician in rare circumstances will be required to supervise CRNA. Cardiac fellowship preferred but extensive experience would be acceptable if TEE certified (Must be able to read, interpret and bill for TEE procedures - not just the placement of probe).
