American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT-CT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a low-volume inpatient rehab setting.
Responsibilities- Position is based in a specialty rehabilitation hospital with 46 inpatient rehab beds and 10 LTAC/ICU beds
- Covers CT procedures using a GE 16-slice scanner and X-ray coverage including Siemens portable units and GE C-arm for MBS studies
- Work with adult and long-term acute care patient populations
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Sunday through Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call required 2-3 nights per week with low volume
- Every Sunday is a scheduled workday
- Floating required within hospital and may be asked to float to affiliate hospitals nearby
- Charting in Epic, prior Epic experience required
- Role includes both CT and X-ray coverage as needed
- Floating may occur between this and affiliate facilities based on operational needs
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrub color is flexible—any color is permitted
- Free parking is available on site
- Return policy requires permanent staff be separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Assignment may last up to 1 year, followed by a mandatory 6 month break before returning
- Pre-assignment and annual training modules must be completed
- All requested time off (RTO) must be included at time of application and is subject to approval
- Current ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year CT Tech experience in an acute or rehab setting
- Valid state license required if applicable
- Must provide two supervisory references from the last three years within a comparable specialty or setting
- Only candidates with permanent address at least 50 miles from facility will be considered
- Must be willing to work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Facility only accepts proof of Hepatitis B vaccination
- Experience with Epic charting required
