Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a NC or compact RN license and two years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Care for critically ill patients with complex needs
• Night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 7:00am, three shifts per week
• No block scheduling is available
• Deliver clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and care evaluation
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required
• Utilize hospital standards and procedures in the delivery of care
• Support patient and family education based on assessed needs
• Promote a safe and clean hospital environment

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or Compact state
• Minimum two years of ICU nursing experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC)
