Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist with a valid CA license, CRT, ARRT, and BLS certifications and a minimum of 2 years of recent mammography experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a surgery center-based mammography unit
- Variable shift schedule: Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, 5x8-hour shifts
- Shifts range from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with a potential day shift on Saturday
- Every other weekend required
- Patient population consists of adult outpatient women
- Epic charting experience is preferred
- Must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
- Local candidates are accepted at a local rate
- Only one holiday request will be approved for time off
- Returning travelers must have a one-year break from their last assignment at this facility
- Completion of online modules during orientation is required, with hours varying by specialty
- Two professional references from the past year are required
- Background information must be disclosed prior to consideration
Requirements
- Current CA license required if applicable
- CRT, ARRT, RHM, and BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) certifications required
- At least 2 years of recent mammography experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
