Our client, an industry leader in utility services, is seeking a Utility Electrician Assistant to join their team. As a Utility Electrician Assistant, you will be part of the industrial department supporting utility electricians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Utility Electrician Assistant
Location: Clemson, SC
Pay Range: $18-20
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Support utility electricians in maintaining campus electrical distribution systems
- Assist with outside lighting and campus traffic control signals
- Participate in maintenance and repair of electrical systems in utility plants
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all tasks
- Help with general electrical maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a 5-panel urine drug test
- Willingness to work 40 hours per week, with some weekend and after-hours work
- Experience or familiarity with tradesman helper roles is preferred but not required
